Financial Planning Process

1

Defining a Professional Relationship

The first goal is to establish a clear understanding of your immediate needs or concerns and understand what services the financial planner can provide.

2

Gathering Data (Including goals)

Having accurate information and clear goals is vital in ensuring an optimal financial plan. You will determine your personal and financial goals with your financial planner taking a realistic time frame into consideration.

3

Analysing and Evaluating your Financial Status

With all your financial information and goals, the financial planner can determine where you are versus where you want to be. This process could include analysing your assets, liabilities and cash flow, current insurance coverage, investments or tax strategies.

4

Develop Financial Plan

Once your current financial situation is understood, we will guide you through the various viable solutions and recommendations. The plan aims to ensure you have clear strategies to be confident that you are taking the right steps toward your financial goals.

5

Implementing the Final Financial Plan

Both you and the financial planner should agree on how the financial plan will be implemented. This step will include implementing one or more financial vehicle(s) to ensure you reach your financial goals.

6

Monitoring Implemented Financial Plan

We live in an ever-changing world, and the financial plan that was implemented must be reviewed on at least an annual basis. Evaluation of your plan is done to ensure that it remains relevant and meaningful in light of any changes in your personal or financial circumstances.

Financial Planning Offering

Life cover is insurance that you take on your life (life insurance) when you die, a lump sum of money will be paid to your family/dependents/beneficiaries.

It closes the GAP between what your medical scheme pays and what healthcare providers might charge. It protects you from unexpected expenses. Without Medical Gap cover, you would be personally liable for any payment shortfall that your medical scheme doesn’t cover.

Bond cover is the same as life cover/life insurance, but it is intended to cover a specific need when you die. In this case, it will pay out a lump sum of money to cover the bond on your house.

Retrenchment Protector covers you should your company retrench you. This does not include voluntary packages/retrenchment. Note, there are certain terms and conditions applicable.

People invest money for many different reasons or objectives. Everybody is different, and we can find the best solution for your investment needs, whether it be saving monthly or if you would like to invest a lump sum of money, the choice is ultimately yours.

Retirement planning is a topic that often only seems to concern people when they are on the brink of retirement when in fact retirement planning should be on top of your priority list from the day that you start earning your first salary. Retirement Annuities are savings vehicles that offer investors a flexible way to save for retirement.

As an employer, you play a pivotal role in the financial lives of your employees. With an employee benefits solution that is simple to use and understand, we aim to help you protect their financial future, thereby ensuring that both you and your employees can live life to the fullest.

For the “man on the street” or for the well-seasoned investor, unit trusts offer a simple and effective way of saving money – they are also the perfect way to build a balanced and diversified investment portfolio, with exposure to the stock exchange.

Insurance is a broad name for different coverage available to the business owner to protect against losses and ensure business continuity.
